Photography (My new hobby)

I did a year of photography in college and loved it, a part of me has always wanted to pick it up again but have never found the time...Having said that I had planned to invest in a good DSLR in the near future but my lovely husbando had the best surprise ever for me recently when he hid under my pillow the newest Canon entry level DSLR to come on to the market Canon 1100d http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_JM9l5CC8w ...here it is with some of the most recent pictures I have taken with it..

Nail colour (not so sure about this one)

Not so sure about this colour that I picked up in Urban Outfitters on a recent trip to Edinburg.. Jury very much out..I kinda liked it until my friend pointed out that it looked like I had dipped my hand in a babies nappy! Think I will leave it one side for the time being or maybe give it to a darker skinned friend who I believe it would be much nicer on!

Adele (there are no words)

I have been listening to her new album album all weekend and there really are no words..she sings about such devastating heartbreak in THE most utterly hauting beautiful way.."Someone Like You" has stayed with me since I listened to it with tears rolling down my face.. ..simply out of this world....

Nail colours (I cannot live without) (at the moment)

Keeping my nails painted at all times can be hard frikin work, especially on a dreary wednesday night when I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open.. My mind is fighting with itself..go to bed and dont be so stupid versus the state of your nails paint them now!! I end up going to bed as the tiredness takes over..I will avoid eye contact with my hands tomorrow but will not let the semi chipped nail polish that adorn my talons get me down..For tomorrow night is another night and I will find the energy to paint my nails a new colour....

Speaking of new colours most recently I have a fondness for the greys, mink, sage and mint colours that are everywhere...I am loving Chanel's Khaki collection.... Models Own's collection is gorgeous and cheap my favourite of theirs at the mo is mushroom...have a look-see...xoxo

Mad Men (otherwise known as the best thing to happen to television)

A few images showing why I love this brilliant brilliant TV show... From the chain smoking and incessant drinking to the beautiful sets and styling, it depicts the early 60's as it truly was...  not that I was around then or anything but it's exzactly how I imagine it was!! I'm completely addicted not sure how I will cope when it comes to an end..Season 5 is currently being shot and will be aired in The States sometime in 2011..so that means RTE should get their hands on it, in and around 2016...Thank God for the art of downloading...
